My Experience
My photography / Videography experience spans over three years, during which I have photographed and video graphed a wide variety of subjects, including landscapes, events, sports, portraits, and more. Throughout this time, I have covered sporting events, photographed / Videographed community and private events, completed individual and group photoshoots, and captured images and films in a wide range of environments and lighting conditions.
I have also traveled to a variety of locations to capture landscape and stock photography, giving me experience working in everything from fast-paced urban environments to remote natural landscapes and challenging weather conditions. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, think creatively, and consistently produce high-quality images and films regardless of the location or conditions. Each project has helped me grow as a photographer and videographer, continually expanding both my technical skills and creative perspective.
My Editing Technique
I don't believe in applying the same editing style to every photograph and film. Every image and film is unique and deserves an approach that complements the subject, lighting, mood, and story being captured. Rather than relying on presets or forcing every photo and film into a consistent look, I carefully evaluate each image and film individually to determine the editing techniques that will best enhance its strengths.
My editing process focuses on improving color, contrast, exposure, sharpness, and overall composition while preserving a natural and authentic appearance across both photography and videography. Whether I am working on a vibrant cityscape, a dramatic landscape, a fast-paced sporting event, a personal portrait, or a cinematic video project, I tailor my edits to suit the subject, atmosphere, and emotion being captured.
My Gear
I currently work exclusively with the Sony A7R V paired with Sony G Master lenses to produce the highest-quality images and films possible. My kit also includes professional studio lighting, on-camera and off-camera flash systems, tripods, filters, microphones, and a variety of other accessories that allow me to adapt to different shooting environments and achieve the best possible results. This versatile setup allows me to capture everything from controlled studio portraits to fast-paced events and challenging outdoor conditions while maintaining a high level of quality and creativity.
I enjoy testing new gear from a wide range of brands and evaluating its performance in real-world situations. This hands-on approach helps me stay up to date with the latest technology while gaining a deeper understanding of how different equipment performs across a variety of photography styles and conditions. Testing different tools allows me to explore new possibilities, improve my workflow, and better understand what equipment can bring to different types of photography and videoagraphy.
How it Started
A Trip That Changed Everything
My interest in photography and videography began while travelling through Europe on a Contiki group trip, a travel company that organizes guided tours for young adults. The trip was given to me as a graduation gift, and over the course of the journey I travelled through 18 different countries with around 50 strangers from different backgrounds and cultures. Sharing this experience with people I had never met before created unforgettable memories and introduced me to an incredible variety of cultures, landscapes, and environments.i group trip, a travel company that organizes guided tours for young adults. Discovering Photography & Videography
During the trip, I began capturing moments on my phone through both photos and videos, documenting the places I visited, the people I met, and the experiences that made the journey memorable. What started as a way to preserve memories quickly became a passion for visual storytelling. I found myself searching for unique perspectives, experimenting with composition, and capturing the atmosphere and emotion of each moment in a way that allowed others to experience it as well.
Taking It Seriously
After returning home, I picked up my mom’s old Sony DSLR camera and began developing my skills further. It gave me the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of photography, including exposure, composition, lighting, and how different camera settings affect the final image. As I continued practising and exploring different styles of photography and videography, my interest grew from a hobby into something I wanted to pursue more seriously.
Realizing how much I enjoyed creating both photos and videos, I invested in the Sony A7R V as the next step in my journey. This allowed me to push my creativity further, explore more advanced techniques, improve my video production skills, and continue producing higher-quality work.
New Horizons
Around The World
Since beginning my photography and videography journey, I have travelled to more than 25 countries with my camera by my side. At just 22 years old, I have been incredibly fortunate to experience and capture places, cultures, landscapes, and moments that many people may never have the opportunity to see. I am grateful for every opportunity photography has given me, from exploring new destinations to meeting new people and experiencing different ways of life around the world.
Growing Thru Every Experince
Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to photograph and film experiences I never imagined I would capture. From breathtaking landscapes and unique locations to fast-paced environments, special events, and personal moments, every experience has helped me grow both creatively and professionally.
Photography and videography have become more than creative outlets—they have become a way for me to connect with the world, preserve meaningful memories, and tell stories that might otherwise be forgotten. Every trip, project, and new environment continues to teach me something new, whether it is adapting to changing conditions, discovering fresh perspectives, or challenging myself to create better work.
Looking Ahead
My next adventure will take me to Africa, where I look forward to exploring a completely new environment and capturing everything this journey has to offer. I am excited for the opportunities, challenges, and unforgettable moments that lie ahead, and I cannot wait to share more of the journey. Every destination brings new stories, new perspectives, and new experiences, and I look forward to continuing to document them through both photography and videography.
